No servers, no network, no accounts. Every bot runs inside xox on your own device, and it tells you what it can do before you install it.
Bots run inside xox on your own device. They have no internet access: there is nothing to send and nobody to send it to.
Before you install a bot, it tells you in one line what it can do. Nothing else. You can pause it, or remove it together with everything it kept, at any time.
Every bot is signed. If a single character changes on the way, xox refuses to install it, and nobody can pass a fake bot off as one of ours.
Ready to use today. In xox: Settings → Bots.

Quick notes and to-dos. Write anything and it's saved.
Log a purchase in one line (“12.50 coffee”) and see today's and this month's totals.
Up to 7 daily habits with streaks, and an evening card to tick them off.
A card on the day and a week before. Never forget a birthday again.
Coin, dice, or pick one from a list. Also in groups.

Greets every new member of your group with your message.
Build your own bots with buttons: auto-replies, reminders and polls. No code.
Public bots from businesses and creators. A ✓ means the bot proved it belongs to that website.
With xox Creator you build a bot with buttons in a minute: auto-replies for your shop or club, daily reminders, a poll. It is signed with your key and lives on your phone.
Send it to anyone as a normal xox message. They see a card, check the permissions and tap Install.
If you run a group, add bots from the group's info sheet: a welcome for new members, dice and a coin for quick decisions, the daily card, your shop's auto-replies.
They run on your phone, as the admin, while xox is open. Their messages are clearly marked as bot, and only the admin's bots can carry that mark, so nobody can impersonate one.
No. Bots have no network access at all. What a bot keeps stays in xox's vault on your phone (encrypted under your PIN if you've set one), and only that bot can read it. Something leaves your phone only when you tap Share, or when a bot you added to one of your groups posts in that group.
No. A bot only sees its own chat. In a group, it only sees the messages of the groups where the admin added it.
Bots only run while xox is open. Reminders and daily cards that were due are delivered the next time you open the app.
Not for long. If a bot stops responding, xox stops it within seconds, and every bot has a limit on how many messages it can send per minute. You can pause or remove it with one tap.
In xox, on the web or in the app: Settings → Bots.
